About Experimental Wing Publishing

We started our independent publishing house in London in 2019 as a way to get bold, experimental ideas from artists and practitioners out of the academic vaults and into the hands of artists, educators, and performers who would benefit from them most. Our goal was simple: create a publishing space that’s practical, open, and artist-friendly—a place where innovative performance practices, alternative methodologies, and fresh critical perspectives could circulate freely, outside of traditional academic publishing. We believe in books that spark action, whether in the studio, the classroom, or on stage.
